Connect with other families and enjoy the great outdoors at Cove Lake State Park which is about 30 minutes north of Halls. This will be a great time to cultivate relationships, relax, and further open your heart to what God has in store for you.
How Do I Register and Reserve Our Campsite?
Use the form at the bottom of this page to let us know you are coming, but before you do that, you need to reserve your campsite by clicking HERE. We’re encouraging people to select from the sites marked by a Blue Start in the image below just to keep everyone close together, but you are free to choose from any available lot in the campground.
How much does it cost?
That’s up to you depending on how many nights you stay and what meals you want to prepare. Everyone is responsible for their own food, lodging, reservations, etc. No money is due in regards to you paying the church. Dinner (Hamburgers, hot dogs) will be provided by the church on Saturday evening.
Do I have to camp the entire time?
Stay for as many or as few nights as you’d like.
What are the plans for the weekend?
You can set your own agenda. The weekend is designed to be free flowing so you can connect with others, spend time alone, etc. On Saturday though, we’ll take an early morning hike for those who are interested, and in the evening, we’ll have a cookout and time of worship in Shelter 3.
What can I do at Cove Lake?
Fishing, basketball, ride bikes, swimming pool, kayak, etc. Click HERE for more information about Cove Lake.
What about Sunday morning?
We’ll have a 10:30am Sunday service as normal at our church building. Some may choose to drive back down for the service, but if you don’t, then that’s OK as well.
