Thanksgiving has just passed us by, so most people already have their eyes focused on December 25th and everything leading up to that day. I want to make sure you know about all the exciting things that are happening with The Grove leading up to Christmas. December is going to be an amazing month!
Sunday, December 3rd “ReThink Christmas” Series
We’ll be kicking off our Christmas teaching series that will challenge us to look beyond the trees, carols, and gifts to discover a greater experience for the Christmas season. Our worship team will be introducing holiday songs each Sunday leading up to Christmas. Invite your friends and family to celebrate this season with you!

Baptisms on Sunday, December 10th
Nothing is more excited for a church than to celebrate people going public with their faith in Jesus. This is the reason Jesus came… to see us move from spiritual death to life! Click HERE to find out more about baptism.
Christmas Family Adoption Gifts, week of December 10th
Don’t forget to bring your gifts for families in our community no later than Tuesday, December 12th. Let’s be praying God will use these gifts and our interactions with the families to draw them closer to Him!
Grove Kids on December 17th
Our Grove Kids will be leading a portion of our Sunday celebration on this day. We are so blessed to have a growing and exciting Kids Ministry, so be sure you come ready to celebrate Jesus alongside our Grove Kids! Additionally, Grove Kids will be having a Christmas celebration party after the service.
Christmas Eve Eve Service
On Saturday, December 23rd at 6:30, we will be celebrating Jesus in a special way with our Christmas Eve Eve service. Come early starting at 6pm as we’ll have Christmas Family Photo Booths setup for you to capture a Christmas memory as a family. We’ll also have coffee, hot chocolate, and doughnuts. The band will have a special presentation beginning right at 6:30, so come early and celebrate with us. Childcare will be available for nursery-PreK, and elementary age kids can join their parents in the main service.
Grove Christmas Offering
The story of Christmas welcomes in our Savior, Jesus, who would generously give Himself as a sacrifice for us. This year, we are going to challenge you to make a sacrifice (above your normal giving) and impact the Kingdom with your generosity. 50% of the offering will leave our church to support other ministries and partnerships around our city. We’ll be sharing the details of those as we move into December. The other 50% will help us as a church offset some costs from our move into the new building in 2017 as well as give us a jump start on ministry plans for 2018. Be praying now that God will give you clarity and faith to make a sacrifice for the Kingdom!
