This past Sunday, we celebrated the blessings God has given to our church so far in 2018. The first six months of this year have been so encouraging, and I can’t wait to see what else God has for us to experience this year. Also during this time, we shared some important information with you regarding the current and future direction of our church including our lease agreement with our current space. If you weren’t here this past Sunday or if you’d like to review what was shared, then I want to encourage you to watch the video or listen to the audio by using the link below. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

By staying focused on Jesus and His vision for His church, we will be able to serve, bless, and share Jesus with this community for years to come. The Grove Church isn’t our church; it’s His church, and I know He has great things in store for us. Let’s continue to pursue a vision of reaching our community and helping people take their next steps of faith with Jesus. When we are united in this vision, our differences or personal preferences cannot derail us from experiencing all that God wants us to do.

Thank you for your generosity both with your finances and time. Attached you will find your giving statement so far for 2018. We send these out halfway through the year and ask you to review it. If you find any errors, please let us know; it’s easier to correct those now rather than at the end of the year.

After you watch/listen to the video or audio, we ask that you follow the words of 2 Corinthians 9:6 and ask God what your giving should look like for the rest of this year.

The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully

[d] will also reap bountifully. 7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency[e] in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.

Just as with any other area of our faith, we should always be looking for what’s next. We ask that you let God lead you into your next steps of giving. Typically, giving next steps will progress something like this, so let God lead you forward in your giving…

Even though The Grove was started more than 8 years ago, I truly believe we are just getting started. Let’s continue to ask God to expand our vision, willingness to give, and faith in Him as He leads us into our next steps as The Grove Church!

Serving Him Together,

Josh Duncan
