Knoxville Free Food Market

One of our core values is that we believe “Our Community Is Our Responsibility”. It is a privilege and joy to serve those in need who are our neighbors. The Knoxville Free Food Market is a free food ministry through The Grove Church that gives food to any person or family in need. There is no qualification process for food and no proof of identification is required.

The Market is open the third Saturday of each month from 10 am – 12 pm.

Volunteers arrive at 9:30 am for training and preparation to assist guests.

We can also use volunteers on the Thursday before the food market. Help is needed during the day and evening to pickup and setup the food.

If you would like to volunteer, then please RSVP below.

    PURPOSE

To show Christ to our guests through the food they receive and how they are treated.

To share Christ with our guests and how they can take their next step with God.

To prevent hunger and provide adequate nutrition to people in our community.

    VALUES

We believe each person should have access to food regardless of their current economic or physical condition.

We believe each person has been created in God’s image and should be extended friendship and dignity.

We respect each person’s privacy regarding personal information.

    Matthew 25:37-40

Then the righteous will answer him, saying, “Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?” And the King will answer them, “Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.”
