Sandra Hall has been such a blessing to The Grove Church for several years. I’ve been so blessed to work with her in my short time with The Grove. She has helped make my transition very smooth in regards to all the day-to-day tasks. Her heart for Jesus, abilities, and attention to detail will be greatly missed. I’m excited for the new opportunity God has placed in front of her and thankful for her willingness to train and invest in the person that will follow after her. Potential candidates are being identified, and I know God will reveal the right person for this role. I’m currently putting a transition plan in place just to ensure nothing falls behind should it take us a little while to find the right person. Please join me in praying for Sandra as she will soon begin her new job and for our church as we seek to find our new administrative assistant.
Here are some words from Sandra…
It has been such a joy to work and serve at The Grove for the past 4 years as the Staff Assistant. A little over a year ago, George and I moved to Maryville to be closer to my aging parents, my youngest child graduated from college, and life has continued to be in transition. The time has come for me to move on to a new opportunity that will put me a little closer to home, and better prepare us for impending retirement.
Working alongside Scott, Josh, Deborah, and Trent has been such a privilege. Seeing how they love Jesus and this church has been inspiring, and will be a difficult working environment to replace. My prayer is that The Grove will continue to be a church home where all will feel welcome, loved, and challenged to grow in their walk with Christ. The Grove will always be a special place for my family and me, and we cherish the friendships made and nurtured here.
I’m so very thankful for my time here, and look forward to walking through the door that God has now opened.
