As part of our Story of God series, we have found five great resources for you and your family that will help you further explore the concepts we discuss on Sundays. While these resources aren’t originally created by us, we do believe they are solid tools to help you better understand both God’s Story and your own life story. The Story of God for Kids PDF will guide you through 21 key parts of God’s story. This resource is recommended for parents to use with elementary age kids. Email the church office if you’d like a printed copy of this resource (email@example.com).
The Jesus Storybook Bible is an excellent version of the Bible to read through with your preschool or elementary age kids. It’s covers dozens of key stories from the Bible but with each story it shows how Jesus is always the hero of the story. This is available for purchase from Amazon for $11.
The Bible Project has made dozens of videos to help you visually work through the story of God. Their primary focus is to ensure that everything points to Jesus as the center of God’s story.
The Story-Formed Way PDF for Adults will guide you through 10 keys parts of God’s story. This resource will somewhat mirror what is taught on Sunday mornings and will provide you with plenty of questions to further explore the different phases of God’s story. The guide is setup to be used with other people, so you can use it with your spouse, family, or friends, but it can be a great resource for individual study as well. The Life Discovery Grid is a PDF that will help you further unpack your own personal story. It will guide you to think through the key moments in your life and how God has impacted you.
